This ever mocking infernal
place,
For I am nothing but one,
Minuscule, meaningless
part of space.
Envy of many, wanted by
none.
Leave me to my
self-righteous fate.
Gaze at the reflection of
my own face,
Devoid eyes receiving
nothing but hate.
Worry not, it shall be
over with much haste.
The silvery glint of
freedom as I start,
Deliberate, calculated
movement center.
A welcome arrow though the
heart;
Collapse at last – my
haven I enter.
Enjoy the last sigh of
breath –
The sweet embrace of
death.
